Hi there, are you struggling for gift ideas for Mother’s Day 2012?
Or wondering when is mother’s day 2012?
Perhaps you are too busy this year to celebrate Mother’s Day 2012, and so, maybe you would give it a miss?
It was mother’s day 2012 and just a few days away.
Joseph is getting his promotion soon, and he just had to work another 2 weeks of overtime to complete his project.
Perhaps he won’t have time for his mother on mother’s day 2012 but he’s sure she will understand. After all, mother has always been supportive, and never once blamed Joseph for any mistakes. Her presence was always comforting, and she was a pillar of support for Joseph since dad passed away when Joseph was 4.
Joseph decided he won’t have time to buy any gifts for mother on Mother’s day 2012. All these are so commercial. They are man-made days. Mother will understand how important his promotion would be. There will be more mother’s days in future… there were mother’s day 2010, mother’s day 2011, and there will be mother’s day 2013, mother’s day 2014… Joseph reasoned to himself.
But in the evening, Joseph could not concentrate on his work, and he stopped at a flower shop to order some flowers to be delivered by the shop to his mother, on mother’s day 2012. He wasn’t sure what flowers his mother would like and so asked the shop to pick the most expensive flowers to be delivered to his mother who lives one hundred miles away.
As he got out of his car, Joseph noticed a young boy sitting on the curb sobbing.
Joseph asked him what was wrong and he replied, “I wanted to buy a red rose for my mother on Mother’s Day 2012.
But I only have seventy cents, and a rose costs three dollars.”
Joseph smiled and said, “Come on in with me. I’ll buy you a rose for your mother on Mother’s day 2012 as a gift.”
Joseph bought the little boy his rose and ordered his own mother’s flowers for Mother’s day 2012.
As they were leaving he offered the boy a ride home.
He said, “Yes, please! You can take me to my mother. I want to spend mother’s day 2012 with mum.”
The little boy directed Joseph to a cemetery, where he placed the rose on a freshly dug grave. The boy uttered, “Finally, mother, I got you a gift which you like, for mother’s day 2012.”
Joseph returned to the flower shop, and cancelled the flowers delivery order.
This time, he handpicked up a bouquet by recalling what types of flowers his mother loves.
And then Joseph drove the two hundred miles to his mother’s house to celebrate Mother’s day 2012 with mother, in person.
